Leather Backpack Purse

Have you ever noticed that women have so many things to carry around with them? Whenever I am away from home I have my handbag with me. In it I have the necessities that seemed to be needed when I am out and about. My husband is always questioning the need to have so many things.

He has his wallet with cash, identification, check card and credit card and in his pocket he carries his small cell phone, a nail clipper and his keys. He does not see a need for anything else. I have explained that it is a rare occasion that my clothing would look nice if I had all these things shoved into pockets, and that there are many times that I do not have pockets in what I have on.

I do know that there are things in my purse that I have placed in that I have forgotten about which adds to the weight, but I am not one that switches handbags very often.

Last year I developed a form of arthritis that involves the lower back as well as the shoulder joints. It was causing me a great deal of pain to carry a shoulder bag. He tried it on and realized that it would feel better than having it hanging on your shoulder. I am trying to cut down on the amount I carry with me, but each time I consider leaving something out I feel I would be lost without it. I think my clothes would look quite strange if I tried to jam everything in the pockets that I have in my purse.
